Take Root At The Septic Tank

I have been digging the foundation of my house to seal it. Last night i cut through a root to have liquid pour out around it. I followed the root to find it coming out of the septic tank. Any thoughts other than I am screwed?

In install septics and if that root grew through a concrete tank then thats a special tree. if anything it punctured the sewer line going to the tank or the pipe out. And if that is the fix is digging and a section of sewer pipe and a slip coupling.

Tree roots are go to and past the canopy of the tree. If you can't find where it hits the pipe a theres plumbers that have locater's and cameras that can pinpoint t puncture into the pipe and you will know exactly the location and depth it is.
