Which Comes First???

We are installing a tumbled paver patio.
We have built walls surrounding the patio, that we will stucco.
Do you stucco first...and the paver up to the stucco....
or do you install the pavers and then stucco the walls atop the pavers??

Are the walls concrete? I would paver first, then stucco, since any stucco behind the pavers will create an uneven zone between the wall and the last paver. Cover your pavers with drop cloths to keep the stucco material at bay.

Don't forget the weep screed: "A weep screed shall be provided at or below the foundation plate line on all exterior stud walls. The screed shall be placed a minimum of 4 inches above grade and shall be of a type which will allow trapped water, to drain to the exterior of the building. The weather-resistive barrier and exterior lath shall cover and terminate on the attachment flange of the screed.

Found here:WEEP SCREED INSTALLATION Be safe, G

What are the walls made with? If concrete you will need a expansion joint between the wall and the paver's. I would be inclined to install a expansion joint no matter what the wall was constructed with. The tumbled stone butts the expansion material.
