Mossy Concrete Patio

We have a large concrete patio and the portion that is under a patio cover gets green and mossy every summer. It gets so thick it feels like walking on carpet. Pressure washing takes it all off. Would sealing the concrete deter the growth of the moss? Any other ideas?

sounds like the water sit in that area longer to fry out. In the old days if a roof gets moss build up we string a heavy gaga copper wire at the peak. What that does is gives of the oxidation when the rain drips/runs over it and that prevents the moss from growing.

So. if you somehow apply that to that area where water can splash/run over the wire this will help. Sealing the concrete so water can't penetrate the surface will also help stop the problem.
