My husband and I built our house 2 years ago, closer to finishing our house our budget was getting smaller so we had to use gravel as our driveway. The problem is that we live on a hill and when it rains it washes out the bottom of the driveway to where it is almost impossible for me to get my car out.

My question is can we use the same brick that we bricked our house with? I was thinking of using sakrete every 4feet and then brick 2-3feet. If our house brick wont work what solution can be used for the bottom of the driveway?

Is tbere any way that you can post a picture to ?

You really just can't lay brick on top if the ground is that loose.

Welcome to the forums bsharpe!

If you dug a ditch on each side of the driveway - would that redirect the water and help keep your gravel in place?
