Cement Foundation for Storage Shred

I want to put a cement foundation in my backyard for a shed. This is my first time tackling a project like this. The area will be no larger than 9x9 ft. I plan to rent a mixer. What's the best type of cement to use? What other materials may be needed?

kman,
Assuming you have it formed up and ready for concrete, just the barrel mixer, lots of bags of concrete, a good wheel barrow, a 10' straight 2x4 to screed with and trowel to knock it down with would suffice nicely.
