I'm a true rookie - building a flagstone patio on a slab and a cement block wall. What is the morter mixture for each, and the grout for flagstone?

Mortar for block
There are a few!
Please call or visit your local Building Department for advice. They don't bite!
Type S: (exterior or below ground)
1 Portland Type 1, 1/2 Hydrated lime, 4 sand.
OR:
1 Masonry Cement Type S, 3 sand
OR:
1/2 Portland, 1 Masonry Cement Type S, 4 sand

Mortar for flagstone
1 Portland, 3 to 4 Sand
add up to 1/2 fireclay for bulk if you like.

Grout for flagstone
1 Portland, 3 sand
