garage floor repair

We have an issue with the concrete floor. They put a new garage door on yesterday and the one corner ( about 2' long section) is about 1" or so off the floor. Looking at the concrete floor it looks like a very large section has cracked and that corner is dipping down a bit. I was wondering if there is a way to make up the differece in this small section. The garage door guys suggested a thicker rubber on the bottom of the door. Or is there any way to trowel a coating of concrete or something over this small area and feather it in. Water would probably get uder there and break it up though. Any thoughts. Again it would probably be a area about 2' by 6". Thanks

A coating 1" think won't last long. Cut out the section with a cement blade & replace the cement or go with the thicker rubber idea. I vote for the rubber.
