Pavers-Sand-Landscape Cloth Order
My parking strip is 48" wide. I want to fill it with 12" square pavers, so it's going to be a tight fit. Underneath the pavers will be sand for leveling and landscape cloth to keep weeds from growing.
I'm thinking it would be best to lay the pavers on top of the cloth with the sand underneath the cloth. Is that the usual practice or can it lead to problems down the line?

the pavers need to be set in the sand cause the sand goes up into the paver from the bottom, after they are pounded down to the right elevation...keep the joints tight....the landscape cloth below the sand is good.

Sorry for the dumba$$ question, but is that why one surface of the pavers has a slight bevel (and if so, I assume the beveled side goes down)?
