leveling concrete slab floor
How do I level a concrete slab floor? When my home was built it had a garage, which has been converted into an extra room. The previous home owner attached an additional room to the old garage. The floor of the old garage, and add-on room is concrete slab. The problem I have is the slab is raised where the two rooms meet (where the block footer to the garage used to be).
So, in the middle of the floor, where the two rooms meet, is a hump. What do I need to do to level this high spot in my floor?

I think its called a grinder...you can rent this at an eqipment rental place. there is also the planer for concrete but I think this makes gouges. the grinder is what I think you should enquire about..
ITS HEAVY so be prepared for that. and be sure it has new stones on it.Beer 4U2
