Interior/Exterior Brick problems!!!

I live in a 100yr old rehabbed cold storage warehouse turned lofts. I have exposed brick walls inside my unit which are leaking during a moderate rainstorm. I understand that the mortar has to be repointed and possibly sealed on the outside. My issue is with my interior walls. My unit is smelling musty/moldy and my walls look like they have seen better days. There is a film developing where the water has run down my walls and the smell is like a slap in the face. Once the building is repaired on the outside, what is the next course of action to cleaning my interior walls? I have read many conflicting reports and I'm trying to come to a concensus. Thanks for your help!

After the outside is repaired, I would use spray a solution of bleach & water to kill the mold. Then I would frame, insulate & install sheet rock or paneling.
