Walk Away Concrete front steps

Our fron steps have a gap of about 4" from the house. They do not lean away from the house. What is recommended to fix this problem? Thanks

I'm afraid you will have to tell us more. Can you post a picture? How are the steps constructed? Are they pre-cast concrete, brick, wood?

Walk away concrete front steps

They are precast steps on a foundation. They moved away from the house, approximately 4 inches. They do not lean, just moved away. Have any solution?

Have you tried simply pushing them back to the house?

If you can slide them back you can try lifting them slightly with a pry bar or lever and fulcrum. Then use construction adhesive or mortar between them and the foundation to help stick the steps in place.

You could try a couple of big guys with pry bars. I have a 6 footer that's probably up to the task, but I'm not.

I'm thinking Bobcat or backhoe to shove them back in place. Once you get them in place bolt them to the foundation with iron straps.
