Installing steel angle header in concrete wall
Is it OK to tapcon the steel angle directly to the concrete or should the steel have a barrier from the concrete? Maybe a sill gasket or even poly? Anyone have some thoughts?
Thanks....

Oh OK - that it had to be screwed into the concrete as well. What about between the steel angle and the concrete header? Can those 2 touch or should I use a sill gasket or something else so they don't touch?

I would use a sill gasket, mainly for air infiltration, but it couldn't hurt to separate the calcium in the concrete from the steel. Usually tar board is put over the steel to separate it, but that was long ago.
