Need help choosing the best concrete slab for garage

I’m currently building a new 28’ x 32’ garage. I have been looking for someone to pour a concrete slab for the garage floor. So far two contractors stand out, however they have very different proposals. One contractor proposed a 4” thick slab with rerod drilled into the foundation walls every 18” to form a grid on the entire floor (no remesh), the other contractor proposed a 5” thick slab using fiber mesh cement only (fiberglass reinforced cement) with no rerod or remesh. The second contractor’s proposal is about $650 less. I should also mention that I have a 6,000lb forklift I will be using in this garage.

I have no idea what proposal to go with. Suggestions please!

Not a concrete pro so this is just my opinion. I would go with the thicker slab with the fiber mesh. I have used that in some of my projects and it works well. I think the thicker slab would be better for the forklift.
