permastone: best anchor for conduit

permastone: best anchor for conduit

i'm going to put up some UF wire likely in conduit (lighting project) and permastone is so delicate so just wondering what is the best way to attach it

We need some more information. I understand the conduit part but I'm not sure where you want to mount it.

Any exterior anchor from Home Depot should be fine.

I wouldn't try to run UF through conduit, however. It's really difficult. Use individual strands of THWN. If you are afraid of damaging the siding, don't use a hammer drill, but use tapcons and their associated bit.

thing is the individual strands seem to only come in 500 ft and i'd never use all that even once my entire outside project is done

You should be able to find smaller rolls at a hardware store or online if needed. You will pay a premium for it though.

If your material is soft Tapcons will not hold. We use plastic anchors and they work very well.

oh no the material is very hard and sometimes i worry brittle but for the most part i've been ok when i had to attach some electrical boxes with concrete screws but those are quite large compared to what id need for the conduit anchors
