Pool Coping - cleaning GROUT from Sandstone tiles ?
I couldn't find the pool section, so I'll post my question here.
The Pool guys just replaced our coping tiles. It is a "Sandstone" like tile, heavily textured and manufactured from a cement base. The Tiling guys basically just spread the grout all over them to squeeze the grout into the grout line - so we now have a whitish 'haze' over all the tiles. They TRIED to wipe them down with clean water about 1/2 hr after doing the grouting, but of course with all tyhe nooks & crannies, it was impossible to get it all clean.
So after I complained about the "sloppiness", the foreman suggested that they will do a light Acid Wash using a Pressure Washer...
Any opinion on that approach or is there a better way? or will over time the haze be unnoticeable as it weathers??
thanks in advance
