Driveway problems
Hi there,
I share my driveway with a neighbor. We both have garages at the end of the driveway. We have an asphalt driveway that is in pretty good shape. We have one drain right in front of my neighbors garage and it collects most of the water. Our garage has a slight slope from the front to the back where both garages are located.
The problem is that when it rains, some water comes down the driveway and goes right into my garage. How am I going to divert the water over to my neighbors side of the driveway because it drains so well over there?
Should I add a "speed bump" type of thing in front of my garage? Should I add a drain in front of my garage? I don't want to spend a load of money on this, nor do I want to start digging over to my neighbors drain as she can get a little picky sometimes about aesthetics.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

IMO a speed bump/diverter would be the last resort. Is all the water from the sky or are there downspouts that could be diverted? Maybe redirect the water before it ever gets that far ??
