I need to know the best way to cut a hole in my brick to install a dryer vent. I am worried that the surrounding brick will bust out and I will be left with a more serious problem than before. The house is approximately 40yrs. old.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Excellent caulks for sealing around the vent outlet exist. See: http://forum.doityourself.com/showth...threadid=47207 for methods. Comments: drilling a hole is better than removing brick and patching in. A carbide tipped hole saw is the best tool for the home mechanic.
