Resurfacing chimney advice

Hi,

I have been residing my house and would like to resurface my chimney so it looks as great as my house is starting to look (At least what I have finished so far). What type of cement/stucco product would be best to use on this? The current surface has a pebbly texture.

thanks,

Mark

I never would have covered the brick. It has to breathe. At least that's what a chimney guy told me.

It has probably had that surface since the house was built over 50 years ago. Most of the houses in my neighborhood look like this. That being said, can anyone recommend the best material to use to resurface my chimney?
