If you're using standard brick 645 per 100 sq. ft. is a ball park figure. The easy way is to have the supplier calculate quantities after selecting the brick. To estimate yourself you need to know the size of the brick (varies with type), thickness of the mortar joint, thickness and height of the wall, and bond pattern.

From there either average valves per square footage or cubic volume may be used or divide the length of the wall by the length of the brick plus one joint width; then do the same for the height.
