How to cut Bluestone squares to put as a cap on my firepit.

So, my fire pit is almost done. Ideally, I would like to put a blue stone type cap on it. The blue stone cap comes in squares. What would be the best way to tackle this? ie: cutting ,measuring etc......THANKS!

I've seen blue stone that wasn't in squares. You should be able to have it cut to size.

Ciruler saw with a diamond blade, wet saw, 4-1/2 right angle grinder with a diamond blade.
No clue why you would need us to tell you how to measure it. Tape measure works for me.

Thanks for the replies. As far as measuring, yes I know how do. I was referring to how to measure for the cuts. It is circular type fire pit, so ideally I would like the cap to be in a circular fashion.
