Concrete Mix

Greetings,

Yesterday, I discovered an old unopened pail of PakMix vinyl concrete for patching/repair, and I'm wondering if the stuff is still useable after about a decade. The reason I ask is because it has a date stamped on the lid, and although it's smudged, I think it's from the early 2000's. Thanks.

If it's completely soft and powdery...then I imagine it would still be ok to use...but for the cost of a new pail...why chance it? If you use it and it fails, it will be twice as much work.

Well, I might just test a little and use it for a non-critical application, like fixing up an old concrete fountain. Thanks for answering.
