Pave Uni Sealers

It is about 2 years I had my double driveway done with pave uni and I have been happy with the work. The joints were filled with polymer sand and I have no weeds growing in the joins neither any stains. However I noticed some companies offering pressure cleaning / sealing for pave uni and I wonder how good this jobs are especially since Iím in Canada and our winders are cold with tons of snow.

Any idea how long these sealers will last in a cold climate?

I sealed my paver patio soon after construction. I don't think the sealer manufacturer claimed it would help the life or durability of the patio. It was mostly for stain resistance but I do recall that there were many products available. Some, like I chose, were just for stain resistance while others claim to really seal the pores and can even create a permanent wet look and help lock the sand (not polymeric) in place. So, I think a lot would depend on the specific product they would use.
