Concrete coating that retains brushed roughness

I recently had a sun room constructed over a newly poured raised concrete slab. The concrete has a lightly brushed surface. I want to retain the lightly roughened surface of the concrete. Is there a type of concrete coating (stain/sealer, paint or epoxy) that would not result in a smooth finish?

You could use a solid color concrete stain. It will color the concrete but won't noticeably change the texture of the finish. I've always been partial to the H&C concrete stains.

H&C has been owned by sher-wms for over 25yrs according to my local guy,,, we just used their water-based translucent sealer at client's request,,, its loaded w/pigment so, IF you want the color shown on the paper chart, cut it w/water & apply light coats rather than 1 heavy,,, eg, for 1,000sf, we had 5gal - turns out 1 gal would've done it so we returned 5gal,,, once its down, you can't lighten it

Laying down a base material under concrete that will be poured.

We had a pool installed. The mason is coming to pour concrete and around pool and walkways. I have a 30 foot sloped trench with 3/4" crushed stone with fabric laid exactly next to the straight 4' * 30' concrete area the concrete walkway will be done. The mason will prepare the soil for the concrete. So here is the question: Can a fabric be laid down and then 1" of crushed stone be placed under the concrete so the soil will not shift and water can run into the trench. I am more concerned about fabric that can allow water to soak through and move water. Can landscape fabric be used under stone which is under concrete? Basically what I am trying to do is have all fabric and stone under the concrete that runs into the French drain. The allan blocks will be eventually placed next to the concrete. There will be a so slight gap between the block and concrete so I need to make sure there is a rock base underneath to grab water and move it along. Removing Neighbor's Set Stucco from Yard

Hi, My neighbor doing some work on his house and let an entire bag of stucco set right between our yards. I'm trying to sell my house, and after numerous attempts to get him to remove it (speaking with him, contacting the community, etc) I've realized I'm just going to have to do it myself. I've tried to remove it from the yard with a dolly, but it seems embedded in the dirt and I don't have a pry bar or anything to lift it out. The only other option I see at the moment is breaking the clump up with a sledge hammer. Is there anything I could do that might be a bit easier?
