Is this garage floor cracking too much to fix? Pics attached!
I'm assuming this one belongs here and not in the garage part of the forum as there looks to be more concrete discussions here. Anyway, I'm going to be selling the house and this concrete garage floor cracking you can see in the pics has never bothered me at all but at least one friend thinks I should attempt to go over it with some type of cement or concrete, he's talking about a self-leveling of some sort. I'm of the opinion that pouring a thin layer of concrete over existing concrete never really works out too well. I guess because I'm selling the place, on one hand it doesn't matter if it only looks good for 6 months or a year or whatever before it falls apart, but on the other hand, I'm not the kind of guy that wants to pass some quick fix off on an unsuspecting buyer that will just fall apart in 6 months. A new garage floor is out of the question, I can't afford to do that right now, but the rest of the house is in excellent shape, so it does kind of stink to have these big cracks in the garage floor!
Is this worth attempting to repair or should I just leave it?

If it's out of a high traffic area I'd probably just leave the floor as is. If it's near a doorway or where you walk often I'd grind down the high side of the crack to reduce the trip hazard.
