I've poured more than one slab in my time (not this one) so I know a bit - and fear I may be naive here in believing this could be done but if its possible I'd like to give something a go. I was going to replace this but the weather is getting cold and chipping this stuff out is hard work. This particular slab is in front of a door and was poured over 30 years ago. It was done with no reinforcement and I'm assuming it's done about all the settling its going to do. That being said we have a freeze/thaw every year....So heaving? OK - Have a local guy telling me we can fill the cracks with hydraulic cement and parge over it...And this will apparently stay together. What do you all think? Is this even possible? I know the color won't match even with the parge but there are coatings that can fix this....but does anyone think I can repair this in a way that wont crack again? It's looked like this for over 15 or 20 years now. But I don't know how much it moves anymore. All advice appreciated and welcome. [ATTACH]42620[/ATTACH]

I have an unusual project I am considering. I would like to make a "wall ball" in my basement where my children can practice their lacrosse stick skills. We have poured concrete walls in the basement. But, there are places where the wall is wavy so the ball hits off of it funny. Do you think I could use the surface bonding cement to smooth things out? Do you think it would withstand a lacrosse ball hitting against it? Thank you!
