Grading for patio question.
So I'm planning to tackle he backyard patio this summer. Have a few questions about the grading and slope for a paver / interlocking patio.

attached is a rough layout of my back yard and patio idea. Black is the house foundation. The brown is the fence, grey patio and green grass.
Now I know the grading has to be 1/8 to 1/4 for every 12 inches. If I was just coming off the rear of the house it would be fairly straight forward. But my question is with the side included too, would I do two separate slopes?

Either way you mentioned is acceptable it just depends on the area you have to work with in the actual dimensions. It would certainly be easier to have everything slope to the rear away from the house but depending on how much rainfall that section next to your house gets that could possibly cause a problem with moisture against the foundation. Also sloping in two different directions using interlocking pavers is rather difficult.
