What finish and how do I replicate it?

Good Morning All:
We are about to paint the exterior of our home and I need to do some minor stucco patch work spots. I will be using pre mixed stucco patch from the tub from Lowes. I need to know how to duplicate the pattern of the stucco because in the past I have done a spot or two and it just looks like a spackle patch. Can anyone tell me how to copy this type of pattern and what it's correct name is? I am including a few photo's.

Many Thanks:
Don

I'm not a stucco guy but I have made a lot of minor stucco repairs as a favor to my customers prior to repainting their house. If you skip your trowel across the wet stucco you should be able to get close to that texture.

Hopefully some of the others can give you better info/help
