Tile over exterior concrete

I want to install some kind of colorful, textured exterior tile over an ugly concrete sidewalk/stairs in front of my house to avoid painting or staining it, which my experience doesn't work.

Browsing the tile departments I'm not seeing on the packages any indication of whether the tile is OK for exterior use, or whether it's slip-resistant.

What should I be looking for?

in fl, use whatever you want,,, look for least expensive then, when a tile breaks, you'll play **** trying to match it & realize you shot yourself in the foot 'cause you're a cheapskate

slippery's another matter - pick something fired that has a tractible surface - good luck

do NOT pick the cheap india slate
