Concrete finish. would a wood polyurethane work?
Hello everyone..
I want to get rid of my carpets and stain and seal my concrete floors. In my area There are not a lot of finishing products available, but I want, as much as it's possible, to avoid using epoxy for health reasons.
I was able to find:
-Solvent free polyurethane-epoxy mix coat.
-Polyurethane coat %58 solid content (it is sold as wood coat and it can be used as a one product coat or it can be mix with a hardener for tougher coat).
-Acrylic coat (I read that acrylic is weak and undependable if it was applied alone)
I would rather to avoid the first product but it depends, can this wood polyurethane coat be reliably used as concrete finish?
Also generally speaking, does polyurethane give concrete the same wet look as solvent based acrylic?
thanks in advance

there's probably a reason no one's yet posted a reply just as there's probably a reason multiple 'thane sealers are made for different sub-strates,,, lessee, could it be conc's different than wood ?
IF you're looking for lo-odor mtls, wtr-bas'd stuff's the way to go,,, just be aware its not worth a **** for to pro's 'cause we guarantee the work,,, 1 can generally buy hi-gloss or satin mtls
pro mtls + tools + methods + knowledge + skills = pro results
