concrete screws and freezing/thawing cycles

Hi!

I will be putting some concrete screws into my pool concrete deck. I was wondering if I should be concern with possibility of cracking due to water getting into the screw holes and freezing/thawing. Is there anything I can do to prevent it?

Thanks!

Are stainless steel screws available for that?

i plan on using tapcon steel screws that are coated with some polymer. stainless steel screws are also available. i'm not too concerned with screws longevity, just the possibility of freeze/thaw cracking of concrete.

Chase the screw with sealant as you install the screw. (Sėkaflex)
