cement walk seperator gone
Put in a new cement porch a few years ago. At 2 major sections I separated the cement (entirely) with that sort of tar impregnated paper - about 1/2 in. thick. It has eaten away by the element now so there is just a 1/2 in. gap between those concrete sections. I will be laying a dimple underlayment followed by some slate next year (skim coating each in place) but wanted to put something between these cement pieces. Just outdoor caulk or ???

Insert foam backer rod so it's about 1/2" below the top of the joint and then caulk with Big Stretch caulk in the color of your choice. Make sure everything is clean and dry first.
