What to use for joints between stones on porch?

Next question on my list.. I plan to install Eden Stones Valder Rustic pavers for the walkway from the driveway to the porch and on top of the concrete porch.

The walkway will just be set on a gravel base and sand there is no concrete slab in place there. The porch as mentioned will be on top of the concrete slab...

I think I will be using thinset to set the stone on the porch but no idea what to use to fill the joints? I'd like the use the same thing for the porch and walkway so the joints all match but not sure what is the appropriate product to use?

I am in the north burbs of Chicago. Part of the porch will not be covered by a roof so it will be subject to some rain and snow.

Why not just follow the paver manufacturer's recommendations?

No need to reinvent the wheel.

we use polymeric sand from apron/vest stores - $ 22 bag - for repairing/resetting pavers,,, just sweep it into the jnts & lightly water,,, IF we order trlr load, we let supplier send it along - saves us time,,, as bdge sez, why invent the wheel ?
