Need some rebar tips
I want to make a concrete garden bench seat, about 20 by 48 inches using a 2x4 form. Can anyone offer me tips on how to layout rebar for it?

If it's only going to be 3.5" thick it really won't be thick enough to worry about rebar. Normal practice calls for least 2" of concrete above and below any embedded rebar.
If you want to use any I would use #4, 3 pieces 44" long and 5 pieces 16" long. Just tie them in a grid pattern leaving 2" of clearance on all edges.

Position your rebar grid using concrete dobies, the kind with tie-wire already attached. That way, the grid will be more likely to stay in position instead of floating or sinking to where it won't do as much good.
