Matching stamped concrete driveway

I have a stamped concrete driveway with this pattern and color.

I need to cut a 4" slot across to run two PVC conduits - one for electrical and one for irrigation.

Once I am done, how easy is it to match the color/pattern? Is it a DIY job? If I hire a stamp concrete company can they match it?

I think there is a snowballs chance of finding a guy with the right pattern mat... but this looks like the one:

Made by Matcrete.

Random Stone - Red

The slot will not be hidden very well, and the color will be impossible to match exactly. It will always look like a 4" slot, since you will have a clear, straight line on each side. New concrete just will not match new concrete, no matter now hard you try.

What is the distance you have to span? You might be better off hiring someone to bore under the driveway, saving you the expense of cutting and replacing the concrete... or figuring out how to diy without cutting concrete.

I agree with XSleeper. It would be easier/cheaper/faster to just tunnel under the concrete. Google "pneumatic mole". You should also Google "tunneling under a driveway" for other options.

You have 2 things going against you; getting the patch/pattern to blend and the color. I'm sure you are aware that the color has faded since it was new - that along with the wear makes it next to impossible to match it. I agree you are best off having it 'bored' under the slab.
