Removing Paint from Concrete Window Sills
We just purhcased a home, and the previous owner painted the concrete window sills, but the paint is cracking and falling apart. It looks disgusting. What's the best method to completely remove paint from these concrete window sills? Thanks.

A paint and varnish remover generally works best. are the walls brick/stone? painted?

If the method mentioned does not succeed, because some older longer setting paints sometimes refuses to react to paint removers completely, unless you apply several applications. In any case, you could use a more aggressive approach such as a wire wheel attached to a a hand held electric grinder, if the window sill does not respond well to chemicals, the wire wheel may tear into the masonry sill depending on what the material is and how hard it is, care needs to be taken in any case.
