High temp adhesive for brick veneer?

Installing brick veneer around a direct vent gas fireplace that is sealed in the front by a glass panel. Model is GNRC33

The heat from the fireplace mainly comes from the top "vent" of the fire place on the front into the room. I was wanting to install a brick veneer around the fire place. And after feeling the heat that comes from the fireplace I don't think a standard mastic will work. is there something that is recommended for installation around a fireplace? As most of the construction adhesives I have found are only good up to 120 F and the temperature that I measured got right around 120 so not comfortable using it at the top of its rating.

I would suggest calling tech support for one or two of the major manufacturer's of construction adhesives and see what they can suggest.

What material is it your trying to stick it to?

I would use a modified thinset, or a masonry produce, rather than something that comes out of a tube or bucket.
