Light colored concrete

Have some chips in outdoor concrete steps that must be filled. The guy at Lowes tells me Sakrete is the answer but it's much darker than the surrounding concrete. Are there lighter options, colorants, etc.? Thanks!

I'm not a pro in this forum but I've always found fresh cement/concrete to be lighter than existing.

Concrete lightens up some as it cures but old concrete often has dirt ground in. Also the materials used will alter the color somewhat. Concrete repairs almost always show. Usually repairs aren't as bothersome once your focus goes to other things. You could use a solid concrete stain to hide the color differences although the 'texture' difference may still be noticeable.

How big are the repairs going to be. You cant just repair small chips with concrete chances are it will pop right out!
