Driveway Resurfacing
Just got an estimate for my 3100 sqft driveway.... $6200
This included:
1. Removing a section where a new layer of asphalt would prohibit proper drainage. By removing the material the new layer will no exceed current height and ensure proper drainage. Approximate volume of material to be removed is 4 tons.
2. Application of Petromat over all major cracks
3. Application of TAC asphalt adhesive
4. Installation of a 80 ft curb
5. Leveling at ends of driveway to be flush with road
6. Height of new layer of asphalt is 1.5 inches
Estimated to require 1 full day to complete
Any opinions and suggestions welcome and appreciated.

First question would be why are you doing this? Knowing what's wrong and what may have caused that could lead to other suggestions.

Why am I getting my driveway resurfaced?
Because the current surface is about 20 years old, has lost/is losing material in chunks, has tree root (tree is no longer there) and oil damage, a lot of cracks etc..........
