Concrete Foundation - Anchor close to the edge

Hi everyone,

I hired a contractor to install the central air conditioning after moving into my new house.

The installation guy installed the concrete anchor very close to the edge of the foundation (~1/2"). I reported my concern to the owner of the company and he asked how I want to address my concern. He said It may not have a structural issue as the condenser is about 110ibs.

The house is brand new and I am very upset about it. The foundation exterior is also wrapped with Styrofoam and Tyvek house wrap.

My concern is the hammer drill already cracked the edge or a foundation water leaking may occur in the future.

Picture 1 - 17.25" from the foundation edge to the subfloor
Picture 3 - the concrete anchor is at 17.75" from the subfloor

Can some experts please advise the potential risk of this incident or the installation is fine and I can move on?

Hi PJmax
Wall-mount was recommended by the installer as the ground is still settling.
