Fixing stones on stone wall
We have a stone wall (listing picture attached, I don't have any recent photos). My DW backed into it this morning and knocked 3 stones off the top. She said they were in tact but she couldn't get them back in the wall. I haven't had the chance to look at it yet, but I want to be prepared.
I would think this should be relatively simple to repair, but i'm no expert. Can anyone let me know what I would need? I'm thinking I probably need to chisel any lingering cement and then re-seal the stones with new cement. Does that sound right? What materials would I need?
Thanks

Do not use cement. You want to use mortar. For small repairs like that I buy the pre-mixed mortar mix where you just add water.
