use polyblend non-sanded grout to repair broken bricks

I just bought simple tools from amazon and polyblend non-sanded grout from home depot as following web
https://www.amazon.com/Caulking-Fini...015002&sr=1-13

home depot

to repair my broken bricks (hit by my car from garage). I washed the broken bricks first so that it became wet. then I used a little water to mix the polyblend non-sanded in a container. Put polyblend on-sanded grout between two piece of bricks, let them dry. Next day, the two pieces get stick, I can not separate them by hand. It gets fixed.

Grout is usually not used as an adhesive. Let time tell if your "repair" will hold.
