Acrylic concrete sealer non-uniform adhesion issues
I am trying to apply this acrylic concrete sealer to my concrete floors indoors. I am in an industrial loft with concrete on the bottom floor and was attempting to create a high gloss finish. The problem is that, while the sealer is creating a nice, smooth finish in some areas, it is not working properly in others. There are patches where the sealer is clumping together rather than spreading evenly across the concrete, as well as patches where the sealer doesn't seem to be adhering at all. Lastly, there are areas where the sealer is covering, but with a bumpy or uneven finish. The concrete was burnished prior to application, thoroughly cleaned and dried, and had a previous layer of sealer from years ago (to which it owes its color). Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong here, and how to fix this uneven application into a smooth layer of sealer? I have already applied two coats, so additional coating doesn't seem to do the trick.
