Best wood to use for board form concrete walls

What type of wood would you guys recommend for board form architectural concrete walls? I was think 1x4 pine, but I thought I'd check before I buy.

It all depends on the texture you want visible in the concrete. I've seen planks, plywood and even silicone mats attached to the forms to create a pattern. With planks you need to pay attention to the board profile and any gaps between them. Some lumber has radiuses on corners which I think is too much texture but if you can get nice, straight square cornered planks then it can look good. Don't forget to coat the forms with a release agent.
