Cement boards on batons ok for exterior retaining wall?
Hi, first of all please excuse my lack of knowledge.
I've got 44m of retaining wall that I'd like to tidy up out the back. I don't want it to just get plastered as I don't want all the white residue coming through later on. Is it a viable option to baton the wall and put cement boards on top, then paint the cement boards?
I've read up and in hindsight I should have 'tanked' the walls earth side but really don't want to dig it all up now as would create a lot of mess.
If the baton and cement boards is a viable option can you please recommend products. I've had a look online but can't tell if the boards are suitable for outside and don't always state. Also I'm thinking of using plastic batons instead of wood, any recommendations would be appreciated.
