Shifting retaining wall
Hello,
highlighted area of retaining wall is shifting. Top section is starting to lean over.
what’s the correct repair?
remove soil to bottom. Remove all bricks and readjust.
should put a weeping tile (drainage pipe) at the bottom? Does it need to exit somewhere to function properly. (As pictured)
any other tips or advice?

How high and what is the foundation?
I have several dimensional paver walls, all the footers are around 10" deep with compacted limestone, they haven't moved yet!

No idea what the foundation is, if any. We bought the house like this.
its 3-4 feet tall. See new pic.

Are the blocks glued together? If not, they should be. They also should have gravel behind them for drainage, with topsoil only at the surface.

Any time you get over 2' you are going to get pressure from the dirt behind the wall regardless of the foundation.
Pretty much need to pull it down, remove the soil from behind, as both have stated, drainage at base with gravel against back with good quantities of block adhesive!
Get all that crappy wood out of there, not helping anything!

Thanks. Does the drainage need an exit like the photo I posted?
the wood is just junk from the spring clean up.

It helps, where it comes out is dependent on the project, dumping onto the lower level may create other issue, or may not find much comes out, depends on the layout and drainage of building and property! Cant comment from pictures!
