Granite Screenings

Will grass grow through granite Screenings? Thanks

Commonly used as a base and/or joint material for pavers and flagstone.
Short answer is no. BUT, as with any ground cover it's not that vegetation will grow from underneath it but as dirt and surface debris collects on top of it, will give vegetation a medium to grow on it.

​​​​​​​Have you ever seen the Scotts E-Z seed demonstration that grows grass on a cinder block? The cinder block does not allow growth but the medium on the surface of the block that allows growth.
