I have an addition on my house that is approx 1 1/2 inches lower than the main slab. The walls have proper footings. I want to cap the slab to match the main slab. The one contrator I had quote it seemed unsure but was going to fasten stucco wire down them use 75 percent acrylic and 25 percent portland. He wasnt going to remove the carpet adhesive remaining from the old carpet. This worried me. He was also worried about the new cement cracking during drying. Any suggestions?
