I need to build a footer for two walls I'm replacing on a small room addition. The addition is two stories, the second story will contain a bathroom. According to 1989 CABO 1 & 2 Family Dwelling Code:

How big does the footer need to be?

How far below the frost line should it be, and how do I know where the frost line is?

Can I run the drain pipes underneath the footer (put them in before I pour it?

How far above ground level should the wood wall start (how far up should I go with block)?

How many anchor bolts should I use? (footer will be L-shaped, 6ft x 10 ft).

Finally, are there any other things I should be aware of?

I realize that whoever helps me may need more information, and I would be happy to provide it. Please email me. Thank you!

You need to get a good book on how to "add a room" many of the questions will be dealt with and new one will help you get started....You need to talk to the local building departmen, get plans and a permit this will save you money in the long run and give you a much better project when done.....Good Luck...
