Question Hanging pictures/sconces in brick/cement

The wall where our fireplace insert is located is completely brick. I would like to hang some sconces for decoration. What do I use and how do I need to hang them? Do I drill holes in the cement and use certain hardware or what? Help!!!!!!!

Cool

Drill holes only in the mortar between the bricks with a masonry bit (FAR easier than drilling brick).
Get expandable lead anchors to fit into the holes, and tap them in with a hammer. (The anchors come in different sizes, based on the load.)
Get wood-screw-thread bolts or screws, and screw these into the lead anchors, leaving the heads (with washers) sticking out enough to hang your picture wire.
Tighten the screws or bolts down to hold the sconces.
Good Luck!
