I'm looking to add insulation to garage walls & maybe the ceiling (either rolls or blown insul). the large 2 car garage (27 yr old hse) is already sheetrocked & i can tell there is about 2 to 4 inches of space between the existing insul & sheetrock.
1. any opinions on blown insulation.
2. is it easy to do myself?
3. any other info would be appreciated.

Details: i live in a 27 yr old hse that has a large 2 car garage. the bedrooms over the garage are about 4 degrees cooler than the rest of of the hse. i suspect the the garage (while sheetrocked) is not well insulated. i am looking to insulate the garage, either by adding rolls of insul or blowing in insulation.

Try posting to the Garage forum. JacktheContractor, Lefty, and MorethanaCarpenter, would be the main ones to seek advice from.
